The Nike Air Griffey Max GD II is a mid-cut trainer/baseball shoe that features a full-length Air Unit and sleek upper design given by the minimalistic swooshes and 5-dot markings that were prevalent in late-1990’s early 2000’s Nike shoes. Other features of the training shoe include a black midsole, a black inner lining and a script on the back of the tongue which reads, “Engineered to the exact specifications original Ken Griffey Jr.” (If you recall, the regular Nike training slogan ends with ‘our athletes’).
